Is it time for you to step out on faith? There have been so many instances that I’ve had to step out on faith since moving to Georgia. One such instance was in 2023. I’d begun working for the Housing Authority in 2022. Although the job was sometimes challenging, I enjoyed not only the additional income and benefits, but also the service we provided to low-income and elderly tenants. After a little over a year working there, the Lord told me the mission was completed, and it was time to go.
Naturally, I questioned whether it was God but quickly realized it was surely Him when I became very uncomfortable, and my favor began to wane.
Although it was challenging to leave, I did it. Not only did God continue to provide for me, but He also opened the door for a paid opportunity in my field. David said it best in Psalm 37:25: “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” God is truly faithful.
